Chances are, there are a lot more people interested in seeing this movie. It has a little something in it for everyone, it's scary, funny and musical all at once. Jennifer's Body is produced by Dan Dubiecki and Jason Reitman, with Diablo Cody as the the screenwriter. It is directed by Karyn Kusama, of "Girlfight" fame. The title of is taken from a song performed by the group "Hole". The basic story centers around Anita (Amanda Seyfried), who is the nerdy high schooler, and her best friend, Jennifer(Megan Fox), who is the ever popular, way to pretty, captain of the cheer-leading team.
Of course, being a cheerleader, Jennifer is the toast of the school and endlessly fawned over by the "wannabes" and chased by the boys. A rock band (Adam Brody's emo charater, Nickolai)involves Jennifer as part of a Satanic ritual and sacrifice being performed by the band members in the hope it will get them the recording contract they all want. Something goes horribly wrong and Jennifer is possessed by a demon who sends her off on a killing rampage to devour the souls of her male school pals. The way the demon uses Jennifer's body is, not surprisingly, to seduce the boys one at a time and draining off their sexual life force, killing them in the process.
Eventually, Anita tried to stop Jennifer's rampage through the school and save the male students.

Shooting was done in Burnaby British Colombia. There are a number of scenes that were filmed near Cariboo Hill Secondary School, at Robert Burnaby Park. A number of Vancouver locations were also utilized. Music by such artists as Dashboard Confessional, Panic at the Disco, Hayley Williams, Cobra Starship, and All Time Low can be heard on the soundtrack. - 29772
